Gary Barlow tries luck in US
Singer hopes to rebuild ailing career

Gary Barlow, the former Take That singer, has decided to quit Britain and
move to Los Angeles in an attempt to breathe life into his ailing music
career, PeopleNews can reveal. Barlow, accompanied by wife Dawn and his son
Daniel, has quietly acquired a property in the beachside suburb of Santa
Monica. The singer will use the house as a base from which to relaunch his
career, concentrating on writing and production. 'Gary's really happy at the
moment,' says a friend of the singer, who has failed, despite predictions to
the contrary, to achieve the huge success enjoyed by his former bandmate
Robbie Williams. The friend adds: 'He's delighted with his son and his
career's going really well. And he just loves LA. He's working with all
sorts of artists like Gloria Estefan. It's a great time for him.'
